One of the goals of Nature Valley in 2012 was to encourage more people to get outside and enjoy nature. With that, a strong relationship was forged with National Parks via the National Parks Conservation Association. Since not everyone can easily visit one of these special places in person, Nature Valley Trail View was created to bring the parks to the people. It works much like Google Street View, but instead of navigating city streets, visitors could virtually trek hiking trails. The project was launched not long before I joined the team. As Social Media Engagement Specialist, it was my job to share Nature Valley Trail View with our social community. This unique interactive campaign won Clio Awards Gold, two Cannes Gold Lions, a Webby Award for Best Digital Design, and various other industry awards and recognition.
