As marketing manager at Surly Brewing Co., I was hired to create and manage a brand calendar for social media, web, and email. It was my job to get content aligned on all channels. My role quickly expanded to assume more responsibilities. By the time I left the brewery, I was also responsible for all photography, created and managed a paid media plan (print, digital display, search), led design and development of a new SurlyBrewing.com and SurlyDarknessDay.com, launched several integrated campaigns, and wrote and directed Surly’s first two TV spots.
